The importance of Omega 3
Omega 3 fatty acids play an important role in a healthy diet and have been linked to many health inducing benefits, such as improved cardiovascular, skin and joint health, better brain and central nervous system development and enhanced cognitive functioning.

Studies have demonstrated the beneficial properties of increased blood levels of the omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA. Given the human body’s limited ability to synthesize EPA and DHA the bioavailability of omega-3 is of great importance.Recent studies have suggested that not all omega-3s are equal. There are two primary sources of EPA and DHA: fish oil, which provides triglyceride omega-3s; and krill oil, which provides phospholipid omega-3s.
